Membership to the North Avondale Business Association (NABA) is your way to help contribute to the continued economic development of North Avondale. The NABA is proactive within business and government in the City of Cincinnati and North Avondale. Who can be a member?

Business Owners, Retailers, Consultants, Realtors, Cottage Industry Owners (An industry where the creation of products and services is home -based), and Business persons who work out of their home office, as well as Commercial Property Owners.

Do I have to attend the NABA meetings if I am a member?

NO, you do not have to attend the meetings if you are a member. We understand that people have busy schedules, and may not be able to attend the meetings. Meetings are however a great way to network with other businesses within the community. Even if you don’t attend the meetings or events, we will still keep you informed and welcome any ideas or suggestions you may have.

What can I expect at a NABA meeting?

We try to keep the meetings to an hour, and when possible we try to include the proposed agenda in the meeting announcement/reminder that goes out to our members.

When and where does NABA hold meetings?

At this time, all of our meetings take place on the fourth Tuesday of each month.  We determine the location of the next meeting at the conclusion of the previous meeting. To keep things interesting, and to encourage businesses to become familiar with other businesses within our community, we have tried to hold the meetings at different businesses each time. E-mail meeting invitations as well as a follow up reminder message are sent to our members, and when possible posted in the community’s yahoo message board as well as the neighborhood association newsletter.

What are some of your Social Activities and Community Service events?

At this time we are currently accepting suggestions and ideas for future events and projects within the community. We have received several wonderful suggestion from our members, and will in the near future select and implement some of these proposed projects. If you have any ideas or suggestions we would love to hear from you!

I don’t have a business; can I still attend the NABA meetings?

YES. Our meetings are open to the public; however you must be a member in order to vote.
